Where It All Began

Hello my name is Kyle, I have always had jobs which involved challenges, I spent 10 years supporting Children & Adults with a broad spectrum of disabilities and complex needs. My daughter was born in 2013 and 4 months into the journey she started to have many seizures during the day. at 7 she was diagnosed with PMG which is a brain deformity as well as epilepsy and a severe learning disorder, She is also non verbal. Needing to spend more time with my family I had to give up being a support worker, I moved back into the motor trade  for around 4 years and then was given an opportunity to venture into the world of carpet & upholstery cleaning from a friend that had a family run business. I soon got the bug for the work and fell in love with the job, I became self employed in 2022 and sub contracted for just under a year. In Jan 2023 I decided to go out all on my own and create Cleaned With Joy, having Joy as a surname it kind of made sense right ?. I find this job very self rewarding although not the same as a support worker I never get bored of the look and reaction to all of my customers over the last 5 years and now have this opportunity to continue but in my own way with not many boundaries. Until I cannot physically do this line of work I wont ever stop.
